Privacy Policy
Gymography keeps the data it needs to plan your workouts and show your progress. We don't show ads, we don't track you on other apps or websites, and we never sell your data.
Who we are
Gymography is run by [Your full legal name or business name], [Postal address, Kerala, India] (“we”). For anything about your data, write to support@gymography.app. Our grievance officer is [Name of the grievance officer], at the same address.
What we collect and why

We process this data because you consent to it when you start using the app, and where the law requires us to (for example payment records for tax). You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account; the app then stops working for you.
Who handles the data for us
- Google (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, App Check, Firebase Hosting and Google Play billing) stores and serves the data. It may be stored on Google's servers outside India.
- GitHub keeps a private nightly backup of the database, so it can be restored after a mistake or failure. Backups are kept for 30 days.
We share data with no one else, except when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- As long as you have an account. When you delete it, your data leaves the live database at once and the backups within 30 days.
- Google Play keeps its own record of your purchase (order number, date, amount), as tax law requires.
- If you don't sign in for 3 years, we may delete your account after warning you by email at least 48 hours before.
Your rights
- See your data: Me → Download my data.
- Correct it: Me → My details; or write to us.
- Delete it: Me → Delete my account, or see Delete your account.
- Nominate someone to use these rights if you die or cannot act yourself: write to us.
- Complain: write to the grievance officer. We reply within 30 days and always within 90. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Young people
Gymography is for people aged 16 and over. Users aged 16 or 17 can use it only after a parent or legal guardian approves in the app. The parent can withdraw that approval at any time in Me → Teens I approved; the teen's data is then deleted the next time their app opens, or by us within 7 days if you write to us. We don't allow anyone under 16, and we don't track or profile young people or show them ads.
Security
Sign-in is through Google. Data travels encrypted, and database rules let each person read only what they are allowed to. If a breach puts your data at risk, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
Changes and languages
If we change this policy, we raise its version and the app asks for your consent again. This policy is available in Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi on request.
